[San Diego Comic-Con 2019] Cosplays you don’t want to miss

by Neil Bui

Another year, another San Diego Comic-Con. We’ve put together a photo gallery of our favorite cosplay moments from this past weekend for you to enjoy. Stay tuned for more San Diego Comic-Con 2019 recap content in the coming days.

First up, like the comic in SDCC, we have cosplays from the DC Comics universe:

@raineemery as Princess Koriand’r aka Starfire with @hollywolfirl as Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl.

@jennalynnmeowri as Rachel Roth aka Teen Titans’ Raven.

@cass_play as Queen of Atlantis, Mera from the Kingdom of Xebel.

@captaineddiemullis and @thatgeekraul as Richard Grayson and Bruce Wayne, aka Nightwing and Batman.

It wouldn’t be fair for us to completely ignore DC’s counterpart, Marvel Comics.

@kawaiimayhem as Magik (Illyana Nikolievna Rasputina) (Russian: Ульяна Николаевна Распутина) from Marvel’s X-Men.

@imspider_gwen as Spider-Gwen, Gwen Stacy from Earth-65.

@nonbinate as Ellie Phimister, better known as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Don’t worry, Star Wars fans, we got you covered with cosplayers from a galaxy far, far away.

@jeredyang + @workmoreorless as father-son bounty hunters Jango Fett and Boba Fett.

@aannggeellll as an amputee Jedi with a lightsaber attachment.

And for fans of the Land of the Rising Sun, here’s some anime references and fashion this side of Harajuku at San Diego Comic-Con 2019!

@snowylies as female protagonist Shiro from No Game No Life.

@baninabear as a tribute to lolita and pastel fashion.
