Dorkaholics (“Dorkaholics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. Depending on its configuration, this service may process information such as page views, referring URLs, search terms, device and browser information, IP-related information, and interactions with Site content.

Matomo

We use a self-hosted implementation of Matomo for website analytics. Matomo helps us understand visitor activity and Site performance.

Because our implementation is self-hosted, analytics information processed through this implementation may be stored and controlled through systems used by Dorkaholics rather than being maintained as a third-party hosted Matomo analytics account.

4. Advertising and Marketing Technologies

Advertising helps support Dorkaholics and allows us to make entertainment journalism and other content available to readers.

We may work with advertising and marketing providers that use cookies, pixels, device identifiers, and similar technologies to display advertisements, measure their effectiveness, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, personalize advertising.

Google AdSense

5. Google Tag Manager

6. Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare for website security, availability, performance, and protection against malicious traffic.

Cloudflare may process technical information associated with visits to the Site, including IP addresses, device and browser information, network information, security events, and requests made to Dorkaholics.

This information may be used to deliver Site content efficiently, detect threats, mitigate attacks, and protect the Site.

7. Google reCAPTCHA

We may use Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms and other areas of the Site from spam, fraud, and automated abuse.

reCAPTCHA may analyze technical and behavioral information to determine whether an interaction appears to originate from a human visitor or an automated system.

8. Google Fonts

The Site may use Google Fonts to display fonts and maintain consistent visual presentation.

Depending on how fonts are implemented, your browser may communicate with Google servers when displaying certain fonts, which may result in technical information such as your IP address being transmitted to Google.

9. Embedded Content and Third-Party Platforms

Articles on Dorkaholics frequently cover entertainment, gaming, anime, comics, film, television, events, and pop culture. As part of that coverage, we may embed or link to content hosted by third parties.
