  1. Squid Game Season 3 – Trailer

We’re less than two weeks away from the epic conclusion of Squid Game. The final games trailer takes us down memory lane as we recall the horrors of Season 1 as well as what is to come in Season 3 for Gi-Hun and the current surviving players. It’s safe to say he’ll make it far enough to put on a suit for the penultimate game from Season 1, but I wonder if he’ll get to see his daughter in America as he originally intended all those years ago.

Release Date: On Netflix on June 27, 2025

Synopsis: The third and final season of Squid Game follows Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) after losing his best friend in the game and being driven to utter despair by The Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), who was hiding his true identity to infiltrate the game. Gi-hun persists with his goal to put an end to the game, while the Front Man continues onto his next move and the surviving players’ choices will lead to graver consequences with each round.

  1. Nautilus – Trailer

A ship, marine officers, the sea, treasure… this isn’t One Piece, but Nautilus. Who knew they had submarines that long ago? But perhaps this series isn’t meant to be historically accurate as it seems like this leans slightly into the fantasy elements with sea creatures. But maybe they’ll even go further than that like the Pirates of Caribbean franchise.

Release Date: On AMC and AMC+ on June 29, 2025

Synopsis: Nautilus follows Nemo’s mission to enact revenge on the East India Mercantile Company, who took everything from him. He audaciously steals a prototype submarine from the penal colony in which he is imprisoned, escaping into the ocean with a motley crew of fellow prisoners. Nemo plans to reach the fabled Viking treasure buried at the Pillars of Halvar. But first, he must win the trust of his crew and keep out of the clutches of the ruthless East India Mercantile Company, who will do whatever it takes to stop him.

  1. Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt – Trailer

Well that’s a blast from anime past, Panty & Stocking is back and now with Garterbelt. 15 years later, fans are getting a continuation of the crude series inspired adult animation in America. I wouldn’t call myself a fan of the series, but I’m definitely a fan of the Japanese hip hop group M-Flo and their producer, Taku Takahashi, who is returning as a music producer for Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.

Release Date: On Prime Video on July 9, 2025

These fallen angel sisters have been tasked with purging the darkness engulfing the earth. But who are they, really? Are they truly messengers of God… or agents of the Devil?

  1. Sorry, Baby – Trailer

The trailer for Sorry, Baby reveals a story that is soft and tender, but is a glimpse into the aftermath of surviving a terrible incident and navigating a life that has continued on. It can be jarring and upsetting, but it’s hard to place such feelings onto others, and this film displays just that.

Release Date: In theaters on June 27, 2025
