Next month, DORKAHOLICS takes on Comic Excitement Convention January 14-15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
This convention is for fans of any of the following: comic books, cosplay, anime, horror, science fiction, aviation, or space exploration.

Guests this year include Sam Jones best known for his portrayal of Flash Gordon, cosplayer Stella Chuu, Robert Axelrod the voice of Lord Zedd in “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” Aron Eisenberg who has had roles in multiple “Star Trek” series, cosplayer Kristin Killtastic, Tara Cosplay, and the original Rita Repulsa actress Carla Perez.
You can expect to see exhibitors selling a wide variety of merchandise plus numerous artists selling their art.

The heaviest emphasis will be on cosplay, which will have a costume contest that has a $10,000 top prize and several other cash prizes.
Entries for this year’s Comic Excitement Convention Cosplay Contest will include several categories: Best Hero, Best Villain, Best Youth, Best Group, Funniest, Best TV/Movie, Best Science Fiction/Fantasy, Judges’ Choice, and Best in Show.

The Exhibit Hall will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
