Pop culture is a never-ending world of updates, teases, trailers, and hopefully releases. What’s New Wednesday is Dorkaholics’ way to keep us all up to date with what’s new across comics, TV, film, games, and more! This week, the focus is on “XO, Kitty” Season 3, “The Drama”, “The Boys” Season 5, and “Bait”.

  1. XO, Kitty Season 3 – Trailer

Season 3 of “XO, Kitty” follows Kitty Song in her senior year at KISS and of course this year comes with its unique challenges, but this time she’ll be counting on her sister Lara Jean Covey (played by Lana Condor) to make a visit to provide some sisterly advice.

Release Date: On Netflix on April 2, 2026

Synopsis: Kitty Song Covey returns for her final year at KISS with her perfect senior year mapped out. She’s going to make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. And she’s going to define her relationship with Min Ho. For real this time. But when surprise revelations throw her plans, and relationships, off course, Kitty will have to learn to embrace the unexpected.

  1. The Drama – Trailer

I’m just counting down the weeks and days until I finally get to watch “The Drama” starring Robert Pattinson (“The Batman”) and Zendaya (“Dune”). I have to know, what was this horrible thing that Zendaya’s character Emma did that she hadn’t shared before.

Release Date: In theaters on April 3, 2026

Synopsis: A happily engaged couple is put to the test when an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails.

  1. The Boys Season 5 – Trailer

The fifth and final season of “The Boys” finds the world in dire straits as it appears that Homelander is on the search for V1, the first iteration of Compound V, which could make him immortal. But not if Butcher and crew have anything to say about it (especially Kimiko who speaks now). We also see familiar faces from “Gen V” in the trailer and as previously confirmed, this series continues to be a “Supernatural” reunion with Jared Padalecki meeting Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy.

Release Date: On Prime Video on April 8, 2026

Synopsis: It’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.”  Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it.  It’s the climax, people. Big stuff’s gonna happen

  1. Bait – Trailer

We love good meta commentary. In “Bait”, Riz Ahmed plays an actor by the name of Shah Latif, who is rumored to possibly take on the role of a mainstream pop culture icon, who is traditionally white. The trailer shows Shah having to grapple with the outspoken backlash to such as casting from internet bites like “it’s not the worst idea… wait yes it is” and “token audition for optics” and “why’s this random Uber driver 007!”  Is this his big break or his last shot? What I’m most looking forward to is a warm reception to the line “I want to show people that this is what a hero can look like.”

Release Date: On Prime Video on March 25, 2026

Synopsis: Shah Latif is a struggling actor whose last chance to hit it big comes in the form of an audition of a lifetime. The series follows him over the course of four wild days as his life spirals out of control and his family, ex-lover and the entire world weigh in on whether he is the right man for the job.
