Collegiate Sports Management Group Announces “Skins Saturday” Selection Show For CENC

NEW YORK, NY – April 14, 2021 – Collegiate Sports Management Group (CSMG) announces the first collegiate esports championship selection show for the Collegiate Esports National Championship (CENC). The Skins Saturday Selection Show will be broadcast on ESTV, Twitch, and across CSMG’s Esports Network. The show will air on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 7:00 pm Eastern and will reveal the brackets, regions, and seedings for the teams competing in CENC.

Barbasol has been named the Official Shaving Cream and Razor of the Skins Saturday Selection Show and the Collegiate Esports National Championship.

The Skins Saturday Selection Show, hosted by Paul “Pauly Hype” Santoro (@PaulyHype), will reveal the fate and positioning of the 40+ schools participating in the first true collegiate esports national championships from April 29-May 2. The Rocket League, Overwatch and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate brackets will consist of two, 8-team single-elimination brackets, that culminate for one Grand Final. The number one seeds will be announced and then the matchups will be presented. Interviews from the teams and coaches will also be a part of the Skins Saturday Selection Show.

Pauly Hype is a professional multi-genre gamer with over 15 years of experience in the gaming industry. Esports is his passion and life! Joining PaulyHype on Selection Saturday are CSMG’s very own, Neil Malvone, EVP Partnerships and Chief Esports Officer, and Megan Podgorski, Director Esports Programming and Property Acquisition.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE ESPORTS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP (CENC)

The CENC represents the first-time teams from across the entire collegiate esports landscape will go head-to-head for the crowning of a true national champion in Overwatch, Super Smash Bros, and Rocket League. This tournament will bring student-athletes together from 2-year institutions from the NJCAAE and 4-year institutions including teams from ECAC Esports, and other conferences and at-large schools. It is a virtual event that will air on Twitch and the Esports Television Network (ESTV) from April 29th – May 2nd, 2021.
