‘DC League of Super-Pets’ 2nd Trailer Brings Super- to Animals in Animation

by Neil Bui

DC League of Super-Pets reunites Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart as they voice Krypto the Superdog and Ace the hound in an animated feature set in a familiar DC Universe with Superman and the Justice League making appearances.

Following the kidnapping of the Justice League, Krypto must work with a group of animals from the animal shelter including Ace, PB the pot-bellied pig, Merton the turtle, and Chip the squirrel (all with newfound powers) to help them rescue the League.

From the trailer, it’s clear the film will be full of laughs while showcasing a side of the DC Universe that hasn’t been seen since 2005’s Krypto The Superdog cartoon. This is definitely a must-see for kids, petlovers, and comic fans looking for light-hearted stories.

DC League of Super-Pets will be in theaters starting July 27, 2022 internationally and on July 29 in North America.
