Fantastic Four (2015) – Script is Finished & Ready to Flop

by Stephen Huynh

Unfortunately for thousands of fans, it doesn’t look like the rights to The Fantastic Four will be reverting back to Marvel Studios.

What does this mean for fans? The very, likely chance that Fox will “take chances” with the film and end up disappointing fans everywhere.Believe me, I don’t say this lightly, especially because of the recent news.

According to Variety, sources tell them that Simon Kinberg has finished writing the script & that they’re already planning on testing for the roles of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) & Sue Storm (Invisible Woman)by the end of the month!

Another super hero movie? SWEET! This is exactly why I love being a nerd in this day and age. Comic book/Sci-fi films are being made left and right! However, I then read the list of actors expected to test for the part of Mr.Fantastic himself: Miles Teller (Project X), Kit Harington and Richard Madden (Game of Thrones).

Now before I get hit with the incoming wave of negative comments, I just wanted to say that I don’t have any problem with these actors. In fact, minus Teller, I love Harington and Madden.

The reason I’m skeptical of this latest news is because so far, it seems like Fox is casting young, hot and sexy actors. It’s almost as if they’re casting for MTV’s Real World New York. The only thing left is to cast Snookie to play Thing and it’s a solid block buster.

Michael B. Jordan is attached to play Johnny Storm (Human Torch) and will be testing “with the actors to see which group has the best chemistry.”

“The Fantastic Four” is expected to premiere June 19, 2015 and although I’m skeptical, in the end, I’ll still give Fox the chance to prove me wrong.
