While Marvel might be gearing up for the release of their next big film, Doctor Strange, in just two weeks, I can not help but be more excited for their offerings in summer of 2017. Not only do we get the first true Marvel-made film about the greatest superhero ever (there may be some inherent bias here) with Spider-Man: Homecoming in July, but we will also be heading back out into the cosmos of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with director James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Today, director James Gunn released some teaser material for the film on social media – a poster and a short “unofficial” trailer:

If you don’t already follow director James Gunn on social media like FAcebook, I highly recommend doing so. Not only will you be getting updates on all things Guardians of the Galaxy, but the fact that he runs his own pages and loves to interact with people means you will be getting an inside look into the film industry from his unique perspective. It is indispensable for anyone even mildly interested in movies.
In any case, I am definitely hyped for this movie – and I hope you are too.
