Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 new trailer premieres

A new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 premiered this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The new trailer gives us more than 2 minutes worth of amazing shots from the film, including a look at Mantis, a new member joining the Guardians, played by Pom Klementieff. Also joining the team are the familiar faces of Yondu and Nebula. Throughout the trailer, some of the new dynamics are introduced and existing relationships are shown to be naturally progressed.

Viewers are also treated to see Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord meets his father for the first time, Ego played by Kurt Russell.

Also released this week is the promotional movie poster for the film in full color. Thank the gods! I mean the guardians! Director-slash-writer James Gunn returns to make this sequel even better than the first film.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, and Kurt Russell, is out in theaters May 5th, 2017.
