And while he may be the newest voice behind Chase, he’s far from new to PAW Patrol. Before discussing his latest role as the voice of Chase in PAW Patrol, Rain Janjua proved he’s a fellow fan at heart. Asked what makes him “a dork,” the actor didn’t hesitate: “I really like video games and anime.”

When he first found out that he was going to be voicing Chase, he was hit with excitement for the opportunity. And as it turns out, his favorite PAW Patrol member is Chase.

“I was super excited. I thought it was insane, I thought I was dreaming or something,” he said. “It definitely didn’t seem real, but it was just all the positive, happy emotions, and I was just super excited to start recording.”

And through this experience, he learned to overcome self-doubt, just like Marshall does in the film.

“I thought there was no way I could do Chase, but then as I was recording, I realized that I actually do got this,” Rain shared.

Marshall steals the show as the main pup featured in PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie and the theme of the movie is to never give up, a trait Marshall exemplifies and Rain also found applicable in his own life.

“I think especially in acting, there are a lot of challenges that you have to overcome, especially things like not getting discouraged or feeling sad when you don’t necessarily book a role you really wanted to,” Rain said. “I’ve had to learn how to adapt and overcome those challenges and not get let down whenever I find out I don’t book an audition or a role, because there’s always a next one. It happens all the time, and I never expect to book something.”
