  • Director Marc Webb will direct The Amazing Spider-Man 3 (May 27th, 2016), but not The Amazing Spider-Man 4 (May 4th 2018)!
  • Venom and Sinister Six spin-off films are in development.
  • Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods, World War Z) is confirmed to direct the Sinister Six film.
  • Venom and Sinister Six films are to come BEFORE The Amazing Spider-Man 4!
  • Tolmach confirms there is a Spider-Man movie set for May 4th 2018, but it’s not necessarily Amazing Spider-Man.
  • Lastly, Sony is rather optimistic and ambitious for the future of The Amazing Spider-Man.
