Comedian Sheng Wang returns to Netflix with another standup special, “Sheng Wang: Purple”. His first special, “Sweet & Juicy”, was released in 2022 and produced and directed by Ali Wong. He’ll be featured during the “Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Pee-wee’s Playhouse” show on May 4th at the Greek Theater during next month’s Netflix is a Joke. Fest.

Oscar Isaac (“Frankenstein”), Carey Mulligan (“Saltburn”), Cailee Spaeny (“Civil War”), and Charles Melton (“Warfare”) star in the second season of “BEEF”. This time the beef is between a couple which then becomes another couple’s leverage, and likely an even bigger beef to ensue.

After a festival run including Toronto International Film Festival, Beyond Fest, and Busan International Film Festival, the action thriller film “The Furious” has been acquired by Lionsgate for distribution. Leave it to the studio behind John Wick to give audiences more kicks, hits, and amazing action sequences. The film stars Xie Miao, Joe Taslim (“Warrior”), and Yang Enyou.
