  1. S&X – Trailer

“For people living in the modern world, sex is not just about reproduction.” Truer words have never been spoken. S&X is an upcoming live adaptation of a manga series titled S and X: Confession of Therapist. The series focuses on sex therapist in Japan who has to navigate working in a culture that while sexually open in some regard, still keeps personal issues close to the chest. And as the trailer for S&X reveals, our lead might also be trying to help himself by helping others, as he harbors his own unresolved issues.

Release Date: On Netflix on August 20, 2026

Synopsis: Ichito Shimotori is a sex therapist at Shimotori Clinic, and every day, he sees patients facing intimate issues they can’t talk about with anyone else. Ignoring the ridicule and prejudice he receives for his chosen profession, he treats each patient with utmost sincerity and respect. But little do the people around him know that he hides an anxiety of his own.

  1. A Different World – Teaser

A Different World joins the slate of modern continuations of beloved television series. For those unfamiliar with the original series, it was a spinoff of The Cosby Show and focused on the Huxtable family’s daughter Denise going off to college at a historically black college in Virginia. After the first season, lead actress Lisa Bonet departed and the series shifted its focus from Denise to Whitley Gilbert and Dwayne Wayne who are the parents of this revival series’ main character. A Different World will premiere on September 24, 39 years to the day of the original series’ premiere.

Release Date: On Netflix on September 24, 2026

Synopsis: When Deborah, Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert’s free-spirited, well-intentioned, yet rebellious youngest child, enters her freshman year at Hillman College, she finds the shadow of her parents difficult to escape as she sets out to build her own legacy, while having the time of her life, alongside a whole new generation of Hillman’s best and brightest.

  1. Heart of the Beast – Trailer

Fans of dog films meet fans of war films in Heart of the Beast. The film reminds me of a book I read in school, Hatchet, as it features a boy having to apply his knowledge to survive in the wilderness after a plane crash, however there was no dog with combat experience in the pages of what I had read.

Release Date: In theaters on September 25, 2026

Synopsis: After a harrowing plane crash, Special Forces officer James Belmont (Brad Pitt) and his combat dog, Odin, find themselves stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness. Together, they are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements.

  1. Lego One Piece – Teaser

The story of One Piece unfolds in a new Lego-based animated series featuring the voices of the actors from the live-action series. But with Usopp as the series narrator, let’s see what kind liberties are taken in the storytelling to offer viewers a slightly different version of how things played out for the Straw Hats.

Release Date: On Netflix on September 29, 2026

Synopsis: Usopp, the Straw Hat’s most reliably unreliable narrator, regales Chopper with the crew’s escapades across the East Blue and into the Grand Line, prior to him joining them in Drum Island. Usopp only tells the tallest of tales, and this action packed special is no different!
