In the recent Dark Crisis: Young Justice #2, Batman straight up tells Tim that dating Bernard is a phase. Many have taken to Twitter and other social media outlets to outright cancel Batman.
That’s why we’re writing this article to clear the air. This is NOT the real Batman.
In fact, (spoilers ahead) Tim Drake is trapped in a nightmare dream world and the Batman in this issue is a nightmare version of the real Batman.
For those of you who may not know, Tim Drake has already come out as bisexual to Batman, who has a very wholesome and heartwarming response.
So put those pitchforks and torches down. Batman is still progressive (at least as progressive as a billionaire can be), and we can all be happy again. For those of you who want to see more Batfamily love, I highly recommend checking out the WEBTOON series: Batman: Wayne Family Adventures.
