Free Comic Book Day is an annual event held on the first Saturday in May. Comic book shops around North America (and around the world) give away comic books absolutely FREE to anyone that comes into their stores.
The entire event is set around getting children (and adults) to explore a piece of literature AND art form that’s been around since the 1930s! So bring your wife, your kids and any and all of your friends to this joyous occasion! Plus, comic book shops also like to do moderate to HUGE blow out sales in conjunction!
