The streaming content data company JustWatch has shared their findings on the top 10 movies and tv shows of 2023 in the United States.

When it comes to last year’s films on streaming, the chart from JustWatch is dominated by titles available on Netflix and Disney+. Netflix cinched the top top sports with The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, #1 and #2 respectively. Disney+ secured a majority of the titles on the list with The Little Mermaid, Avatar: The Way of Water, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Top 10 Movies of 2023 – United States

  1. The Super Mario Bros. Movie (Netflix)
  2. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Netflix)
  3. John Wick: Chapter 4 (Starz)

  5. The Menu (Hulu/Max/DirecTV)
  6. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (Paramount+/Prime Video/fubo tv/MGM+)
  7. Avatar: The Way of Water (Disney+)
  8. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (Disney+)
  9. Fast X (Peacock)
  10. Everything Everywhere All at Once (Prime Video)

Interestingly when it comes to the top 3 TV shows, the three major streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+) are represented as MAX (The Last of Us), Peacock (Yellowstone), and Apple TV+ (Ted Lasso) hold those standings on this list. See the rest of the list below.
