Kevin Conroy Reads Batman Comics Live for Fans

by Neil Bui

Today (Thursday, April 9) at 10 am PT/1 pm ET, DC’s Instagram will feature Kevin Conroy reading the first chapter of the new digital-first comic, Batman: The Adventures Continue.

If you’re not sure why the name Kevin Conroy sounds familiar, that’s because he’s the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman from the Emmy Award-winning Batman: The Animated Series, and has gone to portray the Dark Knight more times than any other actor.

Kevin Conroy most recently portrayed Bruce Wayne on the Arrowverse’s Crisis on Infinite Earths. That character, however, was unlike his past performances – this was Conroy’s first time portraying Batman in the live-action format.

Download your own copy of the Batman: The Adventures Continue Chapter One now to read along later today! This issue is written by Alan Burnett and Paul Dini, who both produced the animated series, with art by Ty Templeton and color by Monica Kubina. Chapter Two will be available on Wednesday, April 15.

Re-experience the entire Batman: The Animated Series in remastered HD on the streaming service DC UNIVERSE. And stay tuned for a new line of action figures by DC Direct featuring Deathstroke, Super Armor Batman, Red Hood, Azrael and more, which helped inspire this new comic series.
