Throughout this year, DC Comics and fans around the world have been celebrating the 80th anniversary of Batman and in the spirit of celebrating the Dark Knight, the legendary Batman: Hush story has been adapted as a feature-length animated film. The storyline will be re-released next month in a new edition for fans who want to own the version featuring new cover art by DC Publisher and CCO Jim Lee. But for fans who can’t wait and don’t already own their own copy, here’s a link to order the graphic novel now.

Considered one of Batman’s best tales, Jim Lee and Jeph Loeb’s Batman: Hush finds the Dark Knight dealing with a strange new adversary while unraveling a mystery that will set him at odds with some of his greatest villains. Available wherever books and comics are sold.

After watching this animated film at San Diego Comic-Con last month, I strongly recommend that you go and watch it immediately. It takes the introduction of a new mastermind villain straight from the comic book series and naturally weaves it into the already existing animated movie universe. The trailer is featured below and if you have a DC Universe membership you can stream the full film August 13th or purchase it on Amazon now.

A mysterious villain puppeteering Gotham’s most dangerous forces leads the Dark Knight into uncharted waters in Batman: Hush, the next entry in the popular series of DC Universe Movies. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC, the feature-length animated film arrives from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital starting July 20, 2019, and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and on the DC Universe streaming service on August 13, 2019.

An adaptation of the seminal DC classic tale, Batman: Hush centers on a shadowy new villain known only as Hush, who uses Gotham’s Rogues Gallery to destroy Batman’s crime-fighting career, as well as Bruce Wayne’s personal life—which has already been complicated by a relationship with Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman.
