According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Eydelshteyn and Talia Ryder lead the new cast as the latest Mr. & Mrs. Smith team. Francesca Scorsese and Matt Rogers also join the series in undisclosed roles. Levon Hawke rounds out the cast as another Mr. Smith, confirming that multiple agents will share the famous alias this season.
Season 2 also welcomes a new creative lead. Anna Ouyang Moench takes over as showrunner after co-creator Francesca Sloane led the first season. Glover remains deeply involved with the series. In addition to executive producing, he will direct several episodes. Maya Erskine also returns as an executive producer and is expected to appear on screen alongside the rest of the producing team.
Filming is underway in Los Angeles County. Prime Video has not announced a release date. Based on the current production schedule, Season 2 is widely expected to premiere in 2027.
