In a tweet that has been deleted, Porter Robinson comments on the current state of electronic dance music.
The tweet says:
There is almost nothing exciting going on in electronic music right now, and lately that’s what’s been motivating me the most.
While this tweet promises nothing concrete, fans should be hopeful and expect another piece of work that Porter is proud to consider part of his canon, like “Shelter.”
Earlier this year, Porter tweeted:
no disrespect but this is the canon
everything else is unofficial now
i've been making music for 12 years and i only wrote 11 songs, wow pic.twitter.com/xgpzMk8iFh

The only complaint I have with his canon is the lack of “Lionhearted,” a track I and many other fans truly love and find to be an iconic Porter Robinson track.
Porter is currently traveling the world and performing with his close friend and talented musical artist Madeon on their SHELTER Tour. The tour concludes at Coachella next month. Check back here for updates on Porter Robinson.
