by Neil Bui

The Brothers Sun is an upcoming 8-episode Asian American drama starring Michelle Yeoh on Netflix.

The action-packed, dark comedic drama is set in Los Angeles and Taiwan, featuring an all-Asian writers room and all-Asian cast. This family soap follows Taiwanese gangster Charles Sun, who has settled into his life as a ruthless killer. But when his father is shot by a mysterious assassin, Charles must go to LA to protect his mother and utterly unaware younger brother Bruce.

The Brothers Sun is under Executive Producer/Showrunner/Co-Creator Brad Falchuk’s deal at Netflix through his company Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision. Joining him as Executive Producer/Showrunner/Co-Creator is Byron Wu. Mikkel Bondesen and Kevin Tancharoen will also serve as Executive Producers, with the latter also on board as Director.
