  1. Mortal Kombat II – Trailer

Karl Urban as an actor playing an actor who is now a reluctant hero just works. Even if it’s a major departure for the rough and tough Butcher character he plays in “The Boys”. I’m looking forward to watching the film and finding out if his line about heroism being “searching for greatness then realizing you’ve had it in you this entire time” is reflective of his character or just irony. And is it me or did I see no Lewis Tan/Cole Young in this trailer at all?

Release Date: In theaters May 8, 2026

  1. M.I.A. – Trailer

From the co-creator of “Ozark” comes a new crime thriller about vengeance, “M.I.A.”. From the trailer, the series feels like a female-led John Wick for streaming, with elements of Punisher and “Kill Bill”, and other works in this particular genre of storytelling.
