Get a Pair of Mega Stones for Mewtwo

The Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo is already formidable in battle, but when it Mega Evolves into Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y it becomes even more powerful. And now you can get Mewtwo’s Mega Stones in your Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game via a special code. Give your Pokémon either a Mewtwonite X or Mewtwonite Y to hold to have it Mega Evolve two different ways during battle.

Add the power of Mega Evolution to any Mewtwo you have in your Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game.

While this Psychic Pokémon is not directly obtainable in the wild or any event (at the time of publication) in Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon, but you are able to bring it into Pokémon Bank via Poké Transporter from earlier games. Pokémon will lose their items in the before stated process, so currently, this is the only way to get Mewtwonite X or Mewtwonite Y in Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon.

To receive Mewtwonite Mega Stones:

  1. On the main menu, select Mystery Gift.
  2. Select Receive Gift.
  3. Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the Internet.
  4. Enter Mega Stones code: M2DESCENT.
  5. Receive Mega Stones.
  6. Speak to the deliveryman found in any Pokémon Center to pick up your Mega Stones.
  7. Save your game!

Enjoy your first battle with your new Mega Pokémon!
