For their film, La Bola Negra, directors Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi received the Best Director award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The epic drama explores themes of memory, love, and queer identity.

- The Social Reckoning – Trailer
After winning the Academy Award for Best Actress for her starring role in Anora, Mikey Madison returns to theaters in The Social Reckoning as whistleblower Frances Haugen. Madison’s character makes the decision to be at odds with her employer Facebook and its founder played by Jeremy Strong, and along the way turns to a Wall Street Journal reporter played by Jeremy Allen White. It looks to be a heavy, grounded film with talented heavy hitters to remind audiences to hold these digital platforms accountable for the real life implications on human lives.

Synopsis: A companion piece to the hit film The Social Network, Sorkin’s original screenplay is based on the events that gave rise to the Wall Street Journal’s shocking exposé The Facebook Files. The film is inspired by the true story of how Frances Haugen, a young Facebook engineer, enlists the help of Jeff Horwitz, a Wall Street Journal reporter, to go on a dangerous journey that ends up blowing the whistle on the social network’s most guarded secrets.
- To You in the Beyond – Teaser Trailer
Based on the first novel of the award-winning light novel series Doko Yori mo Tooi Basho ni Iru Kimi e, the anime film To You in the Beyond produced by TMS Entertainment (Detective Conan, Sakamoto Days) is coming to theaters next month. With a character facing memory loss, the questions on everyone’s mind have to include where she came from and why she was found on the beach. Be cautious of spoilers if you’re going to be looking into the light novel and author but want to have a full experience with the film.

Synopsis: “To You in the Beyond” follows high schooler Kazuki, who transfers to a remote island and finds an amnesiac girl named Nao, who only remembers the year “1974,” leading to a mystery spanning time and memory.

Before the release of Street Fighter, audiences can find Andrew Koji in the film, Double Trouble, which combines elements of a heist film set at a Las Vegas resort with the comedy hijinx of unsupervised children.
