Arrow S02E23 “Unthinkable” Official Description

by Stephen Huynh

Although I’m still personally recovering from the last episode of Arrow, the CW released the official description for the show’s season 2 finale.

OLIVER MUST DECIDE ONCE AND FOR ALL IF HE’S A KILLER OR A HERO — Slade (Manu Bennett) moves forward with his plan to kill one more person in Oliver’s (Stephen Amell)life. While Oliver has fought all year to be more than the killer he once was, when Slade kidnaps someone close to Oliver’s heart, Oliver is pushed to the edge and realizes sometimes it takes doing the unthinkable to stop the monster. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) takes on Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) with a little help from some friends, and Thea (Willa Holland) turns to Roy (Colton Haynes) in her time of need. John Behring directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Andrew Kreisberg (#223).

Straight off the bat, I really do hope Ollie becomes a killer. I mean who would blame him after what Slade has done to his family, especially now that Ollie knows Slade is completely off his meds. PREDICTIONS: The Suicide Squad make a reappearance in the season finale and help Diggle deal with Amanda Waller but also with Slade. How else would they be able to take on an army of mirakuru ex-cons? ALSO, Sara going to visit “someone” after the last episode may bring to fruition other allies we may not have thought about. Possibly the League of Assassins? or even her ex-lesbian lover? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Arrow returns next week with a brand new episode, “City of Blood” on April 30.
